Southern Colorado is a great place to host a beautiful and affordable wedding reception. Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege to photograph several weddings and receptions all over southern Colorado. Here is a list of several great locations to host a wedding reception in Pueblo, Colorado and the surrounding areas. --- *These reception venues are not listed in any particular order* .

1.) The Sangre de Cristo Arts Center's - Jackson Conference Center offers a beautiful setting for an elegant wedding reception. This venue is equipped with optional canopies (provided by Heavenly Canopies). This facility also features a large full-service kitchen. The Jackson Conference Center measures up to 6,800 square feet and is easily divided for breakout sessions if necessary. 2.) The Olde Towne Carriage House located in the historical part of downtown Pueblo. This venue is centrally located near the beautiful Historic Arkansas Riverwalk and seats up to 300 people. They offer a complete bar service with ample parking. They are also locally owned and operated.  The Olde Towne Carriage House offers an old world meets modern look with high-vaulted ceilings,  beautiful wooden beams and lovely chandeliers that hang above the tables. 3.) The Pueblo Convention Center offers lots of room for the bride with a VERY LARGE wedding guest list.  The Pueblo Convention Center is conveniently located downtown near The Marriott (which is a great place for the bride and groom to be to stay the night of their wedding).  Out of town guests can also conveniently stay at the Marriott, making finding the reception easy.  You can expect a touch of class with complimentary services, customized menus and beautiful hanging Chandeliers. 4.) The  Pueblo Country Club offers a classy and intimate setting for your wedding guests.  The facility has recently been remodeled and can accommodate up to 200 guests with their Grand Ballroom and Spanish Peaks Room Combined. The Pueblo Country Club's offers beautiful Cathedral ceilings and the gorgeous hardwood floors that are perfect for dancing.  And don't forget that you have a beautiful view of the Country Club Golf course.  -This facility is multi-functional and  can be serve as both  wedding venue and reception hall if you are looking to keep everything in one place. 

5.) The Waterfront on the Riverwalk offers over 3,000 square feet to entertain your wedding reception guests and features a  walk-out balcony that overlooks the beautiful Riverwalk and downtown Pueblo.  The through-the-wall fireplace is perfect for keeping your guests warm. This facility also features a full service bar and is just above Rosario's Restaurant downtown. 6.) The Albany of Pueblo offers an intimate location for either your ceremony, your reception or both. 7.) The Pueblo Union Depot - Main Hall seats up to 500 people and offers an elegant setting for a wedding reception, the ceremony or both. This facility is located in the historic part of downtown Pueblo. There is plenty of room for a dance floor and comfortable spacious seating for your guests.  8.) The Hatchet Ranch This beautiful rustic 1800’s barn can comfortably fit 150+ guests (with room outside for more if needed).  This prime Southern Colorado wedding venue is located just 20 minutes south of Pueblo with easy access from I-25.  It is an ideal location for an indoor or outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. 9.) Brush Canyon Ranch is a private mountain venue with stunning views and spacious facilities for the rehearsal, ceremony, reception and lodging.  This ranch is a short drive from Pueblo (about 20-30 min south of Pueblo in Rye, Colorado). This facility is multi-functional and  can be serve as both  wedding venue and reception hall if you are looking to keep everything in one place. More information about this facility can be found at https://brushcanyonranch.com/

The Main Street Banquet Hall offers either a ceremony location or a reception location (or both with easy dividers). This elegant and modernized facility is located in the heart of downtown Pueblo and features an in-house kitchen and flat screen televisions  to display your engagement portraits. 9.) The Colorado State Fairgrounds offers both an indoor or outdoor location for both your wedding and your reception with plenty of room for guests. Both are beautiful as well as unique.  10.) The Orman Mansion was purchased by Multi Contractors Inc. in 2000 and has since made it available for receptions, private parties and other events. This gorgeous historic mansion has been used as an outdoor wedding ceremony location and has a back patio perfect for setting up a large tent for your reception dining area and dance floor. -This facility is multi-functional and  can be serve as both  wedding venue and reception hall if you are looking to keep everything in one place.

12.) The River's Edge Banquet Hall offers more of an intimate location for a smaller sized wedding reception and seats up to 60 guests in a formal dining setting.
